[CLOSED] Removing iTunes from my setup and importing into RB instead?

I want to take iTunes out the ecosystem and just import directly into RB instead.

Ive got 60gb of tracks with all cue's etc and Im not 100% sure what will happen if i all of a sudden stop using iTunes Bridge (which is kinda broken now anyway with Yosemite and iTunes 12)

Will I end up with 2 databases with cues? or Will my current database lose its links with the files?

I want to create a new folder for the audio and keep the current cue's etc?

There must be a way to do this....anyone?

Cheers

There will for sure be file name conflicts but it is a bit hard to predict exactly how RB will handle the change. My tip is to create the folder and move / copy ONE tune and see what happens. Try out a few different ways to handle your migration so you find the smoothest before moving the whole lot...

Engineers have noted:

The tracks already imported from iTunes can be referred from Collection of rekordbox even after you stops using Bridge. You will not have 2 separate databases. The track files should remain as they are in the same place so that track files in iTunes should not moved to other place.  If you move them, they will become missing files in rekordbox.
