Wifi link streaming issues Rekordbox

Hi all,

i've read the forums and was wondering if some of you experienced the same issues with Wifi Link streaming from Rekordbox to you CDJ's.

I use  2 x CDJ2000NXS and 1 x DJM900NXS connected to a small gigabit-switch at home on the first floor.. That switch then goes to a managed Linksys switch which in turn is connected with a .1q trunk to a managed (core)switch downstairs. The core-switch has multiple vlans for IPTV etc and also connects my 2 wifi Access-Points. One at the ground floor and 1 at the attic. My main computer (apple imac) is downstairs in the living-room and connected through 802.11n 5ghz Wifi. Reaches 450Mb without problems.

Now if i run rekordbox on the Imac with a cable to my core-switch, i can stream/link without problem on my decks upstrairs. If i remove the cable and do the same over wifi it sometimes works very slowly or not working at all. The difference is that when the cdj's see rekordbox over wifi connected, you have to authorize the connection on your deck. It also "buffers" the musicfiles differently, filling the red bar slowly below the waveform. When doing directly with a lan-cable it just runs smoothly.

I've tested with an Imac, Macbook, Iphone6 and a windows laptop and all show the same issue. Wifi no-go and cable ok!

For a test i've also put one access-point up as a bridge with an ethernet cable to the imac, so the imac doesn't do wifi itself and think it's connected through Lan. This also works perfectly and streaming/link is no issue.

I've tested this on OSX Yosemite, Windows 7, latest version of Rekordbox on both OS'es and on Iphone.

Has anyone seen something similar and is this something in Rekordbox because it recognizes wifi devices by autorizing??

So i've just tested with the rekordbox client on an Samsung S5-mini and that works ok! Streaming speed the same as on a wired connection.

Is there no one who has seen the same issues over wifi??
