Get Info from iTunes updates any changes to the tracks made within iTunes. Not sure why you're having tracks go missing when reloading tags... you're using 3.2?
I've been using reload tag option recently which sometimes works nicely when you have manually made changes to Genre/Artist/Title/Artwork inside iTunes. It pulls the changes through sometimes. Other times the file goes missing and you have to then relocate and then use the 'reload tag' option again. I'm not sure why this works sometimes and not others.
What does 'Get info from iTunes' actually do? When I click it it just re-orders the tracks. I can't find details for either of these features in the manual.
Any info on the above appreciated.
Thanks

I've been wondering the same thing. What does 'Get info from iTunes' " do?. I assumed it was to get info from iTunes after I made a tag update in iTunes (specifically "grouping, which is where I put the record label). I'm running 5.4.2. I get no updates when i click this option. Also when I clicked the "Reload Tag" option. The sequence may matter. Inside rekordbox I first delete the label field. I ensure properties have Convert iTunes "Grouping to rekordbox "Label". Iclose the app. Then ensure iTunes song has the correct grouping info, then close iTunes. Then i open back up rekordbox expecting the label field to now be populated with the grouping info from iTunes. Nothing so i then control click on mac and select "Reload Tag". Nothing changes. So I then select 'Get info from iTunes'. No results. Is this user error on my part or potentially a bug? Any guidance appreciated. Thanks!
Question...
When you are doing this, have you closed iTunes? Did you click the refresh icon in rekordbox to re-load the iTunes library? If no to either/both of those, it won't refresh the data when you click Get info from iTunes.
