OSX 10.8.5 : Error on .pkg installation
Screenshot included. Double-clicking the .pkg throws this error.
I am on 10.8.5 (12F45), Macbook Pro mid-2012
Please help, looking forward to test-driving this next-generation of Rekordbox.

The installation was successful when downloaded through Safari. It failed when downloaded through Chrome and Firefox.
Thanks for the tip, Pulse. But I'm thinking that I might not be the only one running into this problem.

@Chris > Thanks, I'll advise if it happens for others. I was able to successfully download it using all current major browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari), hopefully it's a limited issue.

Downloading the package through different browsers was no problem. It just seemed that the package downloaded with Chrome and Firefox somehow gave the error in the beginning of installation. The package downloaded with Safari did not throw an error during installation and the install went smoothly.
