Beatport is notorious for having bad album art causing issues with songs crashing the players. Sometimes simply removing and re-adding it helps, but in your case, good to know resizing it helped!
I have quite a few times had problems with Rekordbox not adding artwork when I'm importing files. I just got a new one today and inspected the cover art file in detail, to my surprise it was about 20 cm wide and hight but resolution set to only 72 DPI. The actual size was a normal 600 x 600 pixels but since the resolution was so low, the actual size was humongous. Cranked up the resolution to a normal 300 DPI, kept the original size in pixels, and voila, Rekordbox imports the cover art.
So, if your cover art is not importing properly, check the file size and resolution.

Hello Everybody,
I've got the same Problem, but in my case, 72DPI covers work fine. All my DJShop tracks and iTunes tracks use 72 DPI covers. The only Problem i got is, that the tracks i buy from Hardstyle.com have a 96DPI cover inserted, and Rekordbox isn't able to Display those covers.
So I just want to ask if there is any possibility to restore the Support of 96DPI covers due to the fact that it worked with previous Versions.
Only since Version 3 the Problem appears and only with the tracks i bought from hardstyle.com
For me it is very important that the covers are displayed because I orient myself on the covers. And if no covers are shown, it takes much longer for me to find the track actually want to Play.
Especially during my Freestyle sets where fast trackchanges are usually I often get in Troubles.
If there is any other Option I Need to activate in Rekordbox please provide a description.
Hope you guys can help :( I don't want to edit over 4000 Tracks manually :(
