is it possible to use rekordbox solely with an external hard drive, completely bypassing storing any files on your computer's hard drive?

im just about to buy a new mac as my last one slowed down so much. i would like to use a large 2TB hard drive to firstly keep all my itunes music files and all my rekordbox analysed tracks. is this going to be possible?
