Column Order on CDJ2000: Key, Artist, Track Name

I want to plug in my usb and have all my playlists sorted by key and then have the following colums displayed:

Key, Artist, Track Name

So far i can only sort by key and then the columns displayed are only key and track name….the artist column is not there.

How do i do this?  thank you

and does the column order on rekordbox (on your computer) have any effect on how it looks on the cdj?

the 1st is based on what you sort by on the CDJ and what you set the settings in RB, you choose the sort order in RB preferences

there is only 2 columns it displays so no 3rd, only way to get more info on the screen when scrolling is hitting the INFO button on the CDJ

Thank you for clarifying i did not know you can only have 2 columns.   i suppose having the "filename" be the 2nd column may be the only way to have key, artist, and track name info displayed at one time?

Thanks!

…or just sort by filename  ( and have the filename be key, artist-trackname)?    but filename isn't even a sort option!  (preferences-->cdm-->sort

right, Title would be the best best for you to sort if you want "filename", most people file name is the title (I would think)

you can have a lot more info displayed as you scroll if you keep INFO on along the top of the CDJ, It will list your first sort and then even more info to the right like artist, key, rating, etc....

ok i suppose leaving info on while scrolling will be helpful.

From what i understand filename is what you see when looking at your music files through a Finder window (on a mac).  Which can be quickly renamed.

While artist and track name are ID3 tags which can be edited in rekordbox.

Before i used rekordbox I would just click and drag my music files into my usb.  The filenames would be displayed only in the CDJ.  All my filenames were Key (having been run through mixed in key), artist-then track title.  So I am used to this look

yeah, when exporting from RB everything is now tag based. I guess if you wanted too you can add Keys into a comments area and sort by comments. I am sure their is a bulk renamed tool that can do this for you also
