Rekordbox 3.0.1 installation problem - compatible with Windows XP???

Hi guys,

Am trying to update my Rekordbox software from v2.2.4 to v3.0.1 and am having the same problem as when I tried to update to v3.0.0.

The installation seems to go 'ok, but I'm getting the following error msg when I attempt to open the updated software:

"The application has failed to start because MFReadWrite.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."

Needless to say, several re-installations has failed to fix the problem. Anyone have any ideas?

Having just re-looked at the download site, am I right in thinking that the software isn't compatible with Windows XP?

As an aside... why on earth do Pioneer essentially make you install a completely new program (i.e. you have to remove the previous version manually) rather than applying software updates from within the program itself, as per EVERY OTHER PIECE OF SOFTWARE IN THE UNIVERSE!?!?
