DDJ S1 MASTER OUTPUT UNITY GAIN

Could you please tell me where unity gain is on the mixer ?

I am guessing that it is the start or end of the white line on the master knob

I want to know for the purpose of using the DDJ S1 as a ASIO soundcard within Ableton Live

Many Thx

@Andy > Sorry, obviously your post was missed in the mass of posts we get here daily, so first, my apology for that.

If you're looking to set the levels to unity, simply adjust the channel gain until the channel meter shows 0dB, take the channel fader to the top and then adjust the master meter until it matches.

The channel gain is not in use when using the DDJ S1 as a  soundcard in Ableton  only the master output is

Really?  Hrm, I'll have to check that out -- I would have assumed each pair (channel) would be assignable but the master would be as a sum of those through the mixer.

So.......A year later still no info on unity ?????

Also you say "Simply adjust the channel meter until it shows 0db) .....There are NO markings on the DDJ to say 0db not in the software or on the hardware and as I stated when using as soundcard in Ableton it uses the master output

The answer that you give make it sound like you have very limited knowledge on the DDJ S1 and also very limited professional knowledge

I would like to know how to apply for your job because you suck at it

You can apply by coming to any of the shows and just asking me for my job.
