DDJ-T1 DJay.app mapping

latest djay app supports ergo, how can i go about converting a DDJ-t1 .tsi to a .mapping file. Any help appreciated

I just love the simplicity of the Djay.App, would be great to use on simple mixing occasions when we don't require the full features of traktor.

Your word appears to be wrong. Straight from the horses mouth.

Hi Danny,

First of all, thank you very much for supporting djay.

We currently have no official plans, but you can try to use it via MIDI learn:

@Danny > We (the Pioneer admins or trusted users) will provide a mapping when we have the time to make one.

@Danny > There are no plans from Pioneer to officially release any support for the T1 under djay as it's a Traktor controller.  As you learned yourself, the controller can be mapped with the MIDI learn functions.

@Danny > Yes they should be pretty similar, depending how you plan for the jog to react when holding the 'Shift' button at the same time. I will try to take a look at it this weekend, but no promises.

Hi Pulse, I have djay 4.0.2. do you have the map file for ERGO with this version without need for upgrading?

Sorry I posted here about the ERGO. Thanks.

@Rex > Sorry, the ERGO is natively supported in 4.0.3+ so there's no point in creating a map. The only reason you wouldn't want to upgrade is if you're using a cracked version, which I will not support.

@Pulse> I understand. Well, I'm not really a big fan of iTunes. I use Traktor and most of the time Serato. I just wanted to experience how it goes with ERGO + djay. Thanks anyway.

@Danny > Pretty close to Traktor, but not exact, may need some tweaking for personal preference.

Fantastic Pulse, Just tested it and it is sweet a few minor adjustments may be needed to suit users but a stella job.

Really grateful for the time you put into this. :)

Instructions to install.

Rename to PIONEER DDJ-T1.djayMidiMapping then Put into /Music/Djay/MIDI Mappings/
