[SOLVED] Recording using Dj Intro Serato for the Pioneer Ergo

Hi, I am happy to use the Setato software with my Dj Ergo. I just need some help on how to record my mixes. I am using a Sony HI-FI to output my audio for mixing. I have leads coming from my Ergo straight into the Sony HI-FI. I have the other leads coming from the Ergo to my pc, in the line in port. I can see the bars on the sound card moving to the music but it's very low. The sound card is turned right up. I then had a listen to the recorded mix I had done and the audio sounded very poor, it had interference in it. I am not sure if I have the right port connected on the pc to the Ergo. I have 6 ports on the sound card, and I know my line in port is black that I have connected up. Any info on how to get my Ergo connected up would be great. Thanks

If you're using the master output from the ERGO, be sure your levels are high enough on the channel and master so that the output level will be decent.  Your soundcard may also be configured incorrectly or have a low level for that input.  You'll have to check the levels on the Windows audio mixer (in the control panel).

I have it all sorted now. I managed to do it last night. I now have just the pc speakers running on the Ergo. I had to put a splitter on the audio input on the pc and connect the Ergo to that splitter. It's working great and recording great. Thanks

Can I just check with someone. I have posted the same issue. So if I connect a splitter to my laptop into audio input and run small speakers from output this will work
