Laptop Suggestion for DDJS1
Hey guys, I have been looking around and couldnt find a topic for it. So hear it goes.
I recently picked up a DDJS1 and I have been using my old laptop (as in 10 years old) with it so far. But I would like to pick up a new laptop just for the DDJS1. I would also preffer a Windows Based laptop.
What would you guys suggest for ideal specs on it??? Ram, Processor and so forth???

There are minimum specs suggested by Pioneer and Serato to run the Itch software:
PLEASE NOTE: These are the minimum requirements to run ITCH with the Pioneer DDJ-S1. For best performance and for use in professional situations we recommend you use a higher spec computer.
Windows
• 32-bit
- Windows 7 / Vista: Intel* processor, 1.8GHz Core 2 Duo; 2GB RAM
- Windows XP: Intel* processor, 1.8GHz Core 2 Duo; 1GB RAM
• 64-bit
- Windows Vista: Intel* processor, 2.2Ghz Core 2 Duo; 4GB RAM
- Windows 7: Intel* processor, 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo; 4GB RAM
• 1024 x 768 screen resolution
• Available USB 2.0 port
• Available Hard disk space for music
The Core 2 Duo processors are about 6 years old now; I'm running one of those in my MacBook Pro and it works almost flawlessly running Itch. You could literally get a $400 Windows laptop off-the-shelf and run Itch for a few years without issue.
