Pioneer DDJ T1 Traktor Pro 2 level indications

Hi Guys

Sorry if this has been posted, i did a search and could nt find anything on this subject.

Im running a Pioneer DDj T1 and Traktor Pro 2 software and this replaced a Traktor control s2 which the software came with.

With the s2 i found that they levels on both the s2 and the traktor software were showing the occasionally flashes of orange with all the EQ in their netural position and when i pushed the EQs up it would start start to got into the red.

Now that i am running the DDJ T1 i find that the level barely goes over a quarter on the traktor software. (No level indications on the DDJ) and i can push the EQs all up to their max and still cant get a even an orange indication.

I have Traktor set up so that the "Set Auto Gain when loading track is checked" and by listening to the speakers they dont seem to be distorting or sound like they are being pushed to hard.

Have i done something wrong during the set up or is this normal for the DDJ T1? The controller by all other accounts seems to run fine but its a bit concerning that i have no real indication of when im pushing the levels too much.
