DDJ Ergo v / New Mac (USB3)

Hi all.

Recently sold my Traktor s4 and ended up with the Ergo v for free which was a result! However, upon getting my Traktor s4 to work with my Mac and its USB3 ports (not the traditional USB2) i had to scour the land of forums for a fix to trick my Mac into out-putting from USB3 to USB2. This was eventually managed by a 'Kext' file. 

Ive since bought Algoriddem and updated to current version. Ive downloaded the drivers from Pioneer to get the Ergo to work but am struggling. In the preferences menu on Algo, the Ergo controller doesnt appear, the cue headphones buttons on the controller dont work but most other features do. Its an odd one.

New Macbook USB3, Alogoriddem and Pioneer Ergo v has anyone got this combo working?
