Hi everyone!
I bought a DDJ-SX last week and I’ve noticed two things about it lights:
- Why the inner jog led lights don’t flash/light anytime? I don’t mean the white ones who flashes while playing the record. I mean the inner ones. (See attached pic)
- I’ve noticed two little red arrows near the pitch on each deck. You can see it flashing when you turn the DDJ-SX on, but I’ve never seen them flashing while playing. (See attached pic). When/How they should light on?

I've read the inner ones 'may' be added in future upgrades
The arrows only work in 4 deck mode when syncing I believe. In my opinion they should illuminate to show if you are + or - to show where the pitch slider is. Looking at the pitch slider it's unclear under low light
I hope so, it would be a nice addition.
The inner illumination on the jog is when you're in SLIP mode.
As @Gilbz notes, the arrows are illuminated only when you're switching between deck controls (or sync) and need to "software pickup" the fader; it indicates which direction you need to go.
