[SOLVED] Playing a club with my WeGo?

I am playing at a party next month, I am tempted to use my Wego as there is very little space for myself, my main concern is the whether the unit will be powerful enough to handle a large sound system? If not is there anything I can do to combat this? i.e. use a separate external soundcard for example?

I'm by no means an expert on the WeGo, but I think there's a couple factors to consider here...if you're running the WeGo into the line in RCA jacks of the house mixer...you might be okay.  A test run before the actual party, might be advisable.

If there's isn't a house mixer available and you plan to run the WeGo directly to the amplifiers...this probably won't perform very well because the WeGo "appears to me" to have RCA unbalanced outputs, and I would "suspect" they are  -10 dBV  consumer grade outputs (as opposed to  +4dBu pro-line level outputs), which wouldn't be enough to "properly" drive the amplifiers...without some type of up conversion to pro-level  balanced outputs.  There a device available called an "Art Clean Box Pro" which takes consumer level RCA inputs and upscales them to pro line level XLR balanced outputs...it's worth taking a look at and see if it fits your needs. Good luck

Thanks for reply, I don't think there will be a mixer available on the night but I have access to a mixer, so I can just plug my WeGo into the RCA jacks then plug into the house amp?

@Rik > Hope I'm not too late but if there's a sound system already installed where you are playing then there'll likely be a house mixer too so you can simply plug the WeGO into a channel input on the house mixer. Failing that, you can just connect directly to the amp without problem. You should, however, check out the event to assess connections etc before you go down to play there.
