Follow[SOLVED] DDJ-SR Jogwheel issues
Hello! My DDJ-SR jogwheels have started acting up. When I go to scratch and put my hand on the wheel to move it the song will not stay on cue, it will move and no longer be at the same spot. This obviously causes problems. I cleaned the wheels thinking that perhaps there was some build up of oil or dirt, but that had no impact whatsoever. I just bought this the week after Thanksgiving, so it should still be covered by warranty if a repair is needed. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

@Maverick > What software are you using the SR with? How did you clean the jogs?
Was using Serato DJ beta and now have Serato DJ 1.6.....Used a very slightly damp soft cloth to get fingerprints off of them.
did you find any solution to the problem i have the same exactly! and not only me but also a lot respective owners of the same controller!
i think pioneer own as an answer if it is hardware or software problem!
Please verify that you are using the latest version of the firmware for the SR and the newest release of Serato DJ.
I'm having a similar problem where deck 2 while in vinyl mode stops working in vinyl mode then acts as if it were in jog mode. This has happened in the past using my Dell Windows 7 Laptop. Also happened last week using my MacBook Pro with Mountain Lion 10.8 and now it's happening with a new ASUS 17" Windows 8 Laptop. The problem is intermittent but happening more frequently. I can usually cause it to fail by exercising the when and start/cue functions. All drivers (1.000) are up to date along with the firmware 1.07. Also using the latest version of Serato DJ 1.7.5 on all machines. I purchased it June 29, 2014 and I'm ready to send to Pioneer for repair. I haven't found any solution to this problem anywhere on line except a lot of dissatisfied DJ's. Any suggestions? I've heard there might be an issue with grounding but the controller is supposed to be grounded through the USB cable. I also tried another cable. Please help.
@Arnaldo > If you continue to have this problem across multiple computers, multiple applications and with different USB cables, it's likely that the controller itself has a problem and should be serviced.** Please contact Pioneer technical support in your region for further assistance**.
Thank you!
