That's normal as you don't have the RMX connected as a send/return device. If you want to hear the effects over the JBLs, you need to connect them to the output of the RMX.

[SOLVED] Ddjsz with rmx1000
Hi I bought a ddjsz with rmx1000, conection RCA master2,and connected2 powered jbls to booth, when I touch an fx on the rmx I only get the fx coming out of the RCA master 2 and no fx out of booth , I'm getting sound but no fx out of booth only out of RCA master 2 why is this happening ?
