[OPEN] Ddj sz firmware update 1.2.0
Hi, posted on December 23, 2014 did not get a response. I've bought in the past cdjs, djm mixers all pioneer with jbls and still own these equipments. On October 2014 bought ddjsz with new computer and worked exellent , did my firmware update everything working excellent. On December 19 2014 there was another firmware update from 1.18 to 1.20 after I did this update I noticed a few things 1) jog wheel go on standby, middle goes dark, 2) when I hold the shift button , the fx on channel one turn off and the same on all channels. It seems to perform good but I am new to serato dj and I'm learning how to use the the software and hardware. I've been a dj for over 25 years I've always with pioneer got good support and service I don't know why I still did not get some support on this matter it's now a month and no response. I got 6 emails from serato dj sinse I posted on dec, 23 2014 but they did everything to help me but told me to get in contact with pioneer , I'm so close to sell all my pioneer gear. I'm a reasonable person to talk to a response would be so nice from pioneer dj......

@Soundblaster > You don't show it in your video, when you release the SHIFT button, do the effects return to being how they were assigned? And does the SLIP mode button go back to how it was?
So far, the only thing I'm concerned with is the left deck not showing the central display. Does that only occur if the player is cued?

Hi yes, when I let go the shift bottom the fx on both channels and slip mode goes back to normal. The deck go to sleep on cue and also if I stop a playing track will go dark. I also noticed that when I press the shilt bottom slip lights up , but I can turn it off while pressing shirt, but I'm not sure if it changes anything in the software, I'm going to Poste a video on the post of feb 14, 2015 thanks a lot for your response good day....

@Soundblaster > Just to confirm; the SLIP and FX illuminations return to their original state AFTER you release the SHIFT button, but the left jog illumination disappears when you press SHIFT OR when you press CUE on that deck, but ONLY on the left deck?

Hi yes it seems to go back to normal, as for the jog wheels, it happens on both decks, not right away from 30s to 1 minute after cued or if i stopped the deck,also noticed , while song is playing the middle part blinks, was caught on my new video.it doesn't happen very often. Thanks

@Soundblaster > Everything you're seeing with the shift button is 100% normal. Any of the labels on the controls of the SZ which have a white box around them are SHIFT controls. That means when you press the SHIFT+SLIP you're changing the JOG MODE, which is why the vinyl indicator in the middle of the jog disappears when the button is pressed.
The only thing that concerns me at this point is the jog illumination on the left deck. Does the same thing happen if you are on Deck 3?

Hi, it happens on all 4 decks, when cued and stopped. Sometimes it goes dark right away and other times about a minute.
