things I would try

  1. download and reflash the newest fw

  2. call a local authorized repair place asap and have it fixed while it's still under warranty

  3. if you dont have a local place, call Pioneer

Thanks for the advise , but is impossible to load the firmware , because the CDJ does nothing except flashing error message .

I think is more of the CPU chip problem insdie the CDJ .

Personally i'm just very disappointed in the the new CDJ 2000 , because i also know 2 other of my friends are have issue with the CDJ 2000 and like i mention before , i've been using CDJ 1000 since the beginning in the first generation in 2003 and they were so solid and  so was the MK2 1000 , but this one i only had it 6 months and is in my production studio not really used ? Sigh .

But thanks again BriChi  !

no problem, You get lucky with the FW update though, before you power the player up, you hold down usb and exit/loop I believe (you may want to confirm that) and then while holding you turn the player on so "maybe" it will kick into the fw update mode before you get the error? worth a shot, Good shot it may not work though unfortunately,  sounds like it might be a hardware issue :(

I've already try that too, but nothing ! the CDJ just flashes message and that's it !

That's one thing nowdays , everything is firmware , driver , software base and updates and more updates !

I miss the good old 12' record !!! Sigh...

Thanks again ! BriChi

@Michael > With the CDJ2000s incorporating much newer (and vastly more complicated tech) problems are more likely to occur unfortunately. I believe I may have a solution that might work for you. Would you mind if I emailed you?

@Michael > Yeah, unfortunately you'll likely need to have the unit serviced by Pioneer.

Yeah, your email address is visible to agents via your profile and no sense in leaving it here in the forums for bots to pick up and spam you.  :)

My Pioneer CDJ-2000 is showing a E-2073 GUI CPU ERROR when I turn it on.  My firmware is updated to v4.20.  Please help.  I'm gutted.

Wait now its working, I had the lights off in my studio and it wasn't working, and now I turned the lights on and it works.  What the heck is going on?

@Eric > I'd advise you to return the unit for repair to an authorised service centre close to you. You can find the contact links in the right hand column >>
