That must be some serious bass.... or a very poorly isolated DJ booth.

FollowPitch moving from heavy bass!
Whenever I DJ in clubs, the pitch moves up or down because of the loud music, is there anything to do about this or?

I've experienced this to, it's nothing to do with heavy bass, it's just the pitch slider isn't stiff enough.
Most clubs I pla in have the CDJs mounted on stands at something like a 45 degree angle, this causes the pitch slider to occasionally "slip" down, which is a little frustrating.
At least that's what I assume it is, otherwise the player is just randomly jumping tempo (which was my other thought). Pretty hard to prove either though.
What F/W you on? if its the latest, then the "randomly jumping tempo" might be the issue.
I can't quite put my finger on it yet, but the last mix I done had 3 train wrecks. Each time I noted the BPM display had altered on one of the players. These tracks are all previously used without issues and RB analysed months ago etc.
I'm sure the players are altering the tempo, just not able to confirm as yet. The music I has this on was 128bpm Club House, I'll try some 150bpm Hard stuff next.
I know that the train wrecks could be my fault, but when you get yourself out of it and then notice the bpm was different to what was set then I'm not so sure it was me?
Any feed back from pioneer on this yet? I have noticed this happening with not only the latest F.W. but the last 3.
@All > Ensure you are on the latest firmware - this is Step One for all problems.
Secondly, there is enough friction on the pitch slider to prevent it from moving when its placed at an angle of 45 degrees, give or take.
Is there a serious bass presence? I have heard of some DJs attributing failed hard disks to poor isolated DJ booths / bass problem.
