He's just scratching the audio then pressing the cue button a few times to get that drum hit sound.

CDJ-2000 Live Effect Howto
Hi, im writing this because this effect is killing me, and i dont know how he did it, here is the video:

I think its a mix between a loop and a backwards effect, but i dont know, im a little newbie with cdjs. i hoe someone can help me, btw

Hi, i just tried as you said and i cannot get that effect, i was thinking that perhaps hes using a super fast pitch the he returns to normal pitch, not sure, but i doesnt looks like hes pushing the cue button fastly....
