Even at 20MB/s, that's more than 4 streams of a 24bit/96kHz WAV source.
so your answer is that the cdj 2000's software maxes at 20mb's? and getting a 45mb/s card is not advantageous? please advice.
There's a difference between a card's read and write speeds. If you're writing to the card, that's where you want it to be fast (especially for guys taking HD video). As a DJ using the SD card, you'll find it most advantageous to have a high-speed card for storing tracks on the device; when you export from Rekordbox, you'll have a lower export time.
The read speed, even if it were 20MB, is much higher than the maximum amount of data draw anyhow. The max is four streams of 24bit/96kHz which is just about 2.2MB/s total.
Christian, im very curious if you had any problems witn the SanDisk SDHC 16GB Extreme Pro USH-1? Can you leave a reply, I'm interested in ordering the exact same SD cards.
Thanks!
