Time & Table width in playlist mode

Hello everybody

I usually use my cellphone to have a look at the time, yesterday I forget it at home and I realized that it could be very useful to have a the time displayed on the screen somewhere (maybe on top) of the cdj 2000.

The second question is: Is it possible to change the table width when I'm working in playlist mode on my cdj? I mean: the display is separated in 2 columns, one for the title and one for the artist. It would be very nice if there would be the possibility to change the size of the title column by touching the needle search or something like that. Have you ever thought about that?

 Thanks

Steve

@Steve > Its funny you should mention that first suggestion. I was sitting with the development team last month when one of them brought up this idea so it is under consideration.

In relation to your second point; no. This has been asked before and we have suggested it. Thanks for your ideas!

Yeah, the problem with the clock is the players would require batteries (the same as your computer) in order to store the time.  I think it would be a great idea because the players would then be able to create a timestamped history.

I think that the battery problem should be able to fix, just let the user have the choice, if he would like the clock to be displayed or not and then let him set the actual time. I think there shouldn't be a problem, otherwise, if the clock is to tricky to realize without battery, then the playtime should also be a great help for the DJ and for the playlist with timestamp afterwards.

@Steve > The problem is, with each additional feature comes an additional cost which, ultimately, must be borne by the end user.

Perfect example is the booth monitor on the DDJ controllers; not everyone needs one, but if you do, it's a $30 external box.  Had Pioneer included it, the cost increase on the unit would have been AT LEAST $30.

I understand... and if you make a special update pack (for example including the time display option) only available if you purchase it?
