Muisc skipping when using serato in HID mode
i'm using the cdj2000 with serato in HID mode (both with latest updates).
i'm experiencing skipping now and then. some ppl in the serato forum said
that it is from the bass of monitor speakers causing this. can anyone from pioneer
enlighten me if this is true? are you guys working on a fix?

I dont think its really being worked on.... :(
they said it is being worked on but that for Serato, this is a very low priority and the programmers are working on the bigger bugs
this is right from Sam from serato on 3/6/2012
We haven't forgotten about this. In order for these issues to be resolved and to be solid for the future, there is a large rewrite of existing code that needs to happen. Unfortunately this hasn't been a priority and therefore with the limited development resources we have, we have been unable to commit to this as of yet.
It will be fixed in the long run, but it's not the kind of fix that will be able to just be added into a small point release. It's a larger architectural issue that will take some time sorry.
As much as I would like to give you guys more information at this stage I can't sorry. We are aware of this problem though and are working to resolve it.
Let me know if you have further questions.
Sam.
Pio wont fix this, they really dont giv a damn. especially now with the nexus.
here is an easy work around: I've stuck on 50 durometer sorbothane feet on to the bottom of
the CDJs existing feet. works great. no skipping. about $30 for 8 feet from Amazon.
Serato said its their fault and they need to rewrite the code like I posted above so you guys dont have to wait on pioneer for this fix, its seratos issue
Not sure about that. Traktor users are also experiencing this now with HID
regardless whos fault it is. I'm just offering a work around for those who are affected.
that sucks for you guys! I feel bad, i couldnt imagine having to worry about skipping all the time
thats a good workaround too, Another one is to use them in cdj mode instead of vinyl if the bass is heavy at times
