@ Tony Are you using the beatgrid adjustment feature in Rekordbox when you prepare your tracks for first use?

BPM wrong in rekordbox, can you re-analyze via the cdj2000?
Hello,
2 cdj2000s, 1 djm900.
I had issues beat matching two nights ago, could not understand why, both were at 127.0. Last night I tried again, same deal, the beat kept going out of sync.
Both cdj's were reading via link from my pc rekordbox. I had a brainwave and re-analyzed one of the tracks which changed from 127 to 126 bpm, so two questions:
Is it possible to re-analyze via the CDJ?
What is the correct procedure for re-loading the song via link, as just hit the dial button to load song, still had the wrong bpm, in the end I rebooted the cdj and it worked.
Thanks
Tony

I do not think so, is it on by default? To be honest I have not heard of this, I just import tracks (automatically analyzed), then either export to usb, or use the link.
After you import your tracks to Rekordbox, you should click the arrow at the bottom-right corner of the Wave Display. This will drop down a menu of buttons for adjusting the beatgrid. When you adjust the beat grid it will help give a more consistent reading of the BPM.
Bottom line is that you should always beatmatch by ear, but if you do a good job of aligning the beatgrid in Rekordbox you will have a much more accuarate readong on the CDJ BPM displays.
I will check it out tonight when I get home thanks!
