Please help! jog wheel "squeaky" noise...warrany repair?

Here is a video clip of the problem with the jog wheel moving forward. (It does not make the same noise backwards)

So I don't have to go through warranty repair, does anyone have a solution? Any advice? Thanks!

This unit was purchased in February 2012 from an authorized dealer. So the 1 yr warranty in in tact.

I just called Pioneer repair and they said there isn't a service center in my state and so I'd have to pay to ship it to them. Also, they said to NOT use the original box / packaging to ship it to them, because once they repair it and ship the CDJ back to me, they will use a new box / packaging.

So is this correct? I have to re-package it with new boxing material and pay to ship it to them? I really would prefer to ship them the original box (only if they would ship it back to me). I'm not some expert packer and don't want to pay $50 to pack / ship and insure this 3 month old unit. Please, any fixes available that I can do without voiding the warranty? Thank you!

Please send the unit to a repair centre. You can wrap the unit up in the original packaging that came with the unit, just NOT THE BOX (i.e, the styrofoam that came with it etc). Find a box of similar size and place it in that, filling up any excess space with more styrofoam or bubble wrap - many local retailers will have this from their orders and I'm sure they'd give it to you for free.
