Auto Loops Not Working in Relative Mode

Alright  so I'm sorry if this is a noob question but its driving me nuts and its probably something I'm overlooking. I'm new to the CDJ's as I have stepped up from the Denon MC6000, let me tell you whole need experience, however as I typically have set these up in HID mode everything is all fine and dandy. Now, I have recently set this in relative mode and loaded the timecode cd's as I am getting ready for a big show and wanted to make sure the switching between dj's were flawless (by the way i have the Rane sixty-two), so i've noticed that in relative mode the loop features on the CDJ's don't work, nor is serato reacting do it. Again, this is probably something that I have overlooked and I apologize in advance. Can someone advise me what is wrong? Yes, all songs have been analyzed before that subject comes up.

Ditch the timecode and go back to HID with the CDJs connected via USB and SSL running INTERNAL mode.  If you're using RELATIVE it WILL NOT WORK to loop, you need ABSOLUTE mode... which is still not as good as HID mode.  ;)

Awesome, so its not something that I was doing wrong. I appreciate the info, I enjoy the HID mode trust me that is where I enjoy it to be, my thought process I guess about using the time code is when switching out the DJ's on the Sixty-Two, guess I would have to figure out the best way to switch to the next DJ who would also like to be in HID mode, the only thing I can think of would be disconnecting the player that is not currently playing and adding it to the DJ's hub unless there is a easier setup without any disconnecting.

Maybe if you can go without serato link the cdj's into a switch and connect your network cable and use rekordbox.

Though if you want to switch over without disconnecting and need the USB for serato i guess theres almost no way.

You could run the CDJs into the mixer (audio) and have the USB connected to the first DJ's set - the 2nd DJ connects to the 62 by USB as well (thanks to its two ports) and then is able to play on internal mode (using keyboard/mouse) and during the switch-over, he could then connect the USBs from the CDJs to his computer and take over with the HID.

Thanks for the feedback guys, guess this was something that probably wasn't thought thru completely  before the HID mode was introduced, not sure. But who knows maybe with the next model from rane they will create a mixer where we can plug the CDJ's via USB into the mixer and only have one USB going to the mac. Now that would be ideal, the mixer with USB ports for the Players and then of course what we all love the two usb ports for the multiple dj switches. I'm sure that would raise a lot of eeybrows. Again, thanks for taking the time out to try and figure this out with me. I Still love my CDJ900's and Rane Sixty-Two, would trade them for the world!
