Following this comment, I think the cables should be 'Cat5e', but should they be 'crossover' or 'patch', and is it the same cable for connecting the decks and laptop to a switch?

Regards,

Loosh

They should be patch cables, NOT crossover. I use Cat6 cables, but Cat5e cables will work fine as well.

Look for cables with molded ends like this

@michelfranck > You can literally choose any "broadband" cable you want - they don't need to be crossover cables! CAT5E or CAT6 cables will work just fine. You can pick these up cheap - you probably even have a few lying around at home.

@ Gavin

this is amazing, I have no error for now, but I do not cry victory too soon

I have a small question for my network card I uncheck (allow the computer to turn off this device to save power)

there is a possibility that the problem is solved because I deactivated the power management of the network card

Sorry, what? I'm guessing that having deactivated the power management function you didn't actually see any benefit so your problem still exists?
