New players from the same class - the CDJ2000 issues still unsolved

I'm posting about a big issue with the cdj2000s since 2010 - THE 4 BEAT-LOOP CUTTER IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY WHEN PRESSED WHILST THE PLAYER is resting in cue mode. This is not happening when pressed during playback.

When somebody asked this question about a year ago: "Pioneer, why don't you fix the existing bugs instead of releasing new products", we got the answer: "there is other team involved in the development of the products belonging to that class of products, the cdj2000 team is preoccupied only with the cdj2000s, not all the products".

What about now, cdj2000 team, you forgot about the cdj2000 bugs, about the bug that i'm reporting since 2010? You manage to release a new player from the same class without fixing the bugs of the existing one ! You let the work unfinished and rushed to release a new product from the same class ! How can you do this ? I'm tired of talking about this big issue that is annoying me, nobody is listening to us. I was hoping somebody was working to fix it, now i see a new product on the market :( .

@ Pulse, Gavin - What more can i do to make myself heard by the Pioneer engineers ? I've read something about some "tickets", opening a ticket ? What is that?

P.S. - not mentioning about the new player bugs, i'n not interested into, but they certainly emphasize a big rush and a lack of interest for satisfying its actual customers .

Ello Mr Mac, long time no see. I've moaned about my gripes since the day of release on 2000's, nothing has improved. Rekordbox is till cack etc. I have not bought a pioneer product since my 2000's, and i have not upgraded like i have done over all the years of cd players and mixers. I was a pioneer faithfull. I have now given up and will have to stick with my djm 800 and 2000's. I get more use and stability out of my ipad's running algoriddims djay app.

@ Marian Eugen > I know what you are talking about mate..

@ Gary > He is talking about trying to start playing from a loop. Like... to hit a loop from the beggining of the track or a cue point while starting to play and get straight into it. .....sorry for my bad english.... a lot of other guys always complained about that. They never fixed.

I agree about the point of getting it 100% before releasing a new version of the hardware. But again I think theres something to blame on moderators here... Was that issue addressed to Pioneer??? That's the question.

In some mega old post i remember pulse saying "It was not a priority on fixing scale and it would be fixed in time". It has been years now......

Existing hardware will not be left in the cold -- the schedule for release may not be the same but there will be continued support for the CDJ2000 by way of driver and firmware updates in the future.

It is not the only thing that they haven't fixed. There are other bugs too.

What an answer ! The same as in the following post

http://forums.pioneerdj.com/entries/22413543-when-will-there-be-a-new-firmware-for-the-old-cdj2000-mk1

The years are passing, new players come on the market and we are still answered in this manner (copy a predefined answer and paste it to all).

What more can be said . This is what Pioneer has become!

Pulse, maybe i was wrong blaming you in the past, maybe.  It's not your fault, you are not Pioneer, but you have the dirtiest job, trying to defend a company who's respect for its actual customers is equal to 0.

This is my original post (on september 16 2010) :

https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B3YL5iV5aM1cWVB4UU11UjJ5NnM

After 2+ years this is what we get, just a copied predefined answer !!!

No need to answer to this!

You can even delete the thread, not to be seen by the new potential customers and change their minds, not to change their impression about the present situation, about the present flagship of the company.

@ Marian > that proves the total disrespect and careless about their customers. I still stand on my question.... "Was this and other still existing problems really adressed to engineers?"

... if the last firmware that brought major fixes to us took 6 months to come up what now that we have just a mk1 and not the latest problematic hardware? Will we stay without working loops and wait for a fix for the megaold problems like Marian just did show everybody?? Once Pulse also told me "old customers will not be forgotten".  Now he says the schedulle wont be the same... so probably we will be the ones to keep waiting forever and ever...
