[CLOSED] CDJ 2000 Nexus - Firmware 1.06 - Fault

Hi

Just commenting on my personal experience of 1.06 tonight, CDJs seemed to behave them selves quite well tonight to start of with, no stopping, then after 2 hrs, the file disappearing issue RESURFACED.

I had to stop the USB, unplug it, then push it back in.

I then had to do it again 2 hours later.

My SD card with 128gb was perfect, but this is a back up. The USB is still loosing files, and files appear "empty" even when the CDJ is reset or the USB HD is removed and plugged back in, they reppear.

Other uses commented that the Aero has the same issue.

Advise please ... Its been 3 months since i brought the deck, and I find this highly frustrating, I loose all my tag list ...  and its extra messing about I dont need

Again, Ive tried multipul HDs, and all have same issue

Will there EVER be a firmware to fix the freezing of these units?

I would like someone to at leased acknowledge this issue with the HD on the Nexus ... and Aero, ive post enough times about it, for me, this is highly frustrating, and it again happened on another HD last night, a non WD My Passport 500Gb

The SD card works, the issue is with the USB

I wish I could get mine to even update the firmware. It literally just sits there at the connect usb screen

Thanks Gavin

Its theUSB Hard Disk issue, that seems to be effecting the Nexus and Aer - Ive tried reformatting my HD (again), and still the issue continues.

Here is a pic of the issue

XDJ-Aero users:

The upper limit is 1000 files when the folder has DB and 4000 files when no DB is stored.

The maximum number of folders is 1000 regardless of whether they have DB or not.

CDJ-2000/nexus users:

Are the files in the HD exported from rekordbox or directly saved in it without using rekordbox?

Can you still correctly view all the files on the HD when browsing via a computer? You've mentioned that you have fully re-formatted on some occasions. Has the HD displayed an errors / bad sectors?
