hot cueing loops?

Hi everyone,

I've decided to make the switch over to Pioneer after selling my Denons recently and I picked up a pair of CDJ 2000 Nexus players. Other than being broke, I'm really liking the decks.

I've primarily used Serato but am finding that I really don't need to do that anymore thanks to the huge lcd screens.

I do have one question however. In the past, I would save a hot cue just before a loop that I created in the track and would hit the hot cue to play the loop from the start. I find that when I try to do that now, the loop disappears. Also, sometimes I just want to jump to a hot cue point without having it auto play from that point. I find that even if the deck is paused, it will automatically play from that hot cue if I hit the button.

I suspect that both of these issues are related. Is there any way to turn off the hot cue auto-play feature? Obviously if the track is playing, I would like for it to continue to do so when I hit a cue point. I'm referring more to when the track is stopped.

Also, is there a manual for the decks? I just got a rather short and sweet version with the decks. I'd like to familiarize myself as much as possible with these guys.

I would just like to comment on your Hot-Cue Autoplay thing, in rekordbox you can make different cue points (up to ten), those won't play off until you press play.

Thanks EpikureeR and Gavin.

Sometimes you just have to press buttons that you never have before. It's not like the decks are going to blow up! There are also lots of informative videos on youtube.

Thanks guys and I'll get back to you for any other questions!
