CDJ-2000 Nexus, when loop is off, go back to waveform

Can you ask the engineers to change this, Unless others have a reason to keep this.

When i set a loop, The strip turns from the wave to the loop numbers which is great, but if i exit the loop, the numbers should exit also and go back to the waveform, I shouldnt have to hit loop mode again to get the wave back in my opinion. thanks

i agree, that would be great, i  would like to suggest loop mode button should have a light.

I disagree, what of u wanna quickly go back into the loop, why should u have to pull the loop menu up again? You should press the button to hide the menu when u are finished playing with loops

you can simply hold the IN loop to auto set a 4 beat loop and the loop menu immediately re-appears if you wanted to extend your 4 to an 8/16/32,

@BriChi: What you describe will activate a new loop (at the current position). The reason the loop markers stay up is because it allows you to jump back into the previously set loop, until you dismiss them.

Justin, Unless I am not understanding something you are trying to do, And I apologize if I am, That is not true, Even with the markers up, once you exit a loop, the 4/8/16/32 markers when hit will create a new loop from the current position of the playing track, the same way as if you just hit and held "IN" to create a 4 beat. The only way to get back to a previoisly played loop is by hitting the "reloop/exit" button, this re-activates the previous loop or you can set a loop as a stored hot cue in A B or C. Hit anything on the loop mode strip does not bring you back to a previously set loop once you have exited/dismissed the loop, that's why it would be nice that once we exit a loop, the loop mode strip should exit along with it being that there is no loops going on and you are back to just playing the track

I do agree that the markers should stay up as the loop is playing so you can quickly jump through the loops to create buildups or extend them but once a loop is dismissed, the loop mode bar should be dismissed with it.
