[CLOSED] 850 & Traktor Pro 2.6 connection problems
Hey guys.
I've been trying to connect my 2 x CDJ 850's(fw 1.08) to my Macbook Pro Mid 2009 - Mac OS X 10.7(Fresh Install) but having some problems.
I downloaded the aggregate tool from pioneer support page an also the .tsi midi mapping file.
When I run Traktor, the only way i can get sound is from both the CDJ's is set the external routing like this -

I know this is NOT the correct way!
I know a bit about computers, so scoured the net for videos on YouTube an read several other posts from here and the NI forums with people who have the same problem.
From what I have read, I know straight away you guys are gonna say aggregate problem, routing problem.
These are the correct settings which used to work -

The way this is setup, I only get sound out of one CDJ and is very quiet. When I do the setting from the first screen shot, both CDJ's produce sound an its clear an loud, but only works on the same channel.
I have removed the aggregate device, created a new one manually, have re installed Traktor.
Both CDJ's have assigned different midi channel settings. Left = 1 Right = 2
My Mac was on 10.8 OS X and I read people where having some issues with this an usb's within Traktor so reverted back to 10.7.
Any ideas as to why?
Thanks in advanced!!

Darren, try this...
Go back to the Aggregate window in the Audio MIDI Setup app and click the arrow to expand the aggregate device and show the sub-devices. Next, click on one of the devices and check to see where the volume sliders are. If the slider is anywhere but all the way to the right (the dB value is not zero), adjust it over to the right. Make sure it's set for BOTH of the devices under the aggregate.
Finally, if that doesn't resolve it, be sure to check within Traktor that you have the channel gains set properly.
