on my 2ks i just lifted them off with a mini screwdriver type lever / nail bar
they just lifted off with no bother.....

Removing Vinyl Speed Adjust Knobs
How do these come off, do I just pull hard? I'm scared of breaking them. I just got deck savers for my CDJ 2000 Nexus decks, and they came with a protective cover you can put over the decks as well while you're using them (which I'll probably just use when I bring them out to shows).
But to put this on, you have to take off the 2 knobs and then put them back on.
Please let me know, thanks!

Are you sure you got the correct deck savers? They make one for the 2000's and a different one for the Nexus. You shouldn't have to remove anything on the players to use the deck savers.
