[SOLVED] CDJ 900 not able to map MIDI in SERATO.... why????

hello..

look everywhere on internet, but i didnt found the RIGHT answer for this problem.....  A lot of people say that is possible to map CDJ 900 with SERATO to use with normal TIMECODE CDs... I ask... HOW ??????????

I am not asking about HID.... I know that HID is already premaped, and works fine...  but i would like to map some functions by myself .....how can i map??? should i press DISC button or LINK button ???. I tryed everything, but nothing happens........ The SERATO guys said that is possible .... but i dont think so..... what do you think ?!?!?

@Wantuil > First off, I recommend reading the MIDI section of the Serato manual.

You need to open the Setup screen inside Scratch Live and click MIDI. You need to ensure the CDJ900 is showing up here and also ensure you have enabled MIDI devices.

Now click MIDI in the main Scratch LIve screen and start MIDI mapping. Serato's guide shows you how to MIDI in Scratch Live :  serato.com

Yes Gavin... thx for ur Help... but even with the CDJs shown in the MIDI devices list, is not possible to map.... I read that is impossible to map when HID is conected because theres a kind of MAPPING LOCK only for standard HID mappings.... when i press LINK on CDJ, automaticaly enable HID mode... in this way is not possible... and if i dont press LINK button, Serato dont recognize in MIDI List

@Wantuil > Ok, thats fine. In the Utility Menu of the CDJ-900 (Press and hold the Menu button) have you changed HID Mode to "Advanced" rather than "Standard"? Now try to see if you can do what you want with the mappings.
