[CLOSED] cdj 2000 nexus sync not working ++++

Everyone plays with different genres with bpm ......are only excuses by pioneer  for a person who does not seem to be dj, traktor and serato work perfectly.

I do not understand, as a market pioneer launches products without testing the sync does not work, I have 4 drives away bad money invested

I hope they find a solution to this!!!

I don't use it so i cant say if it's good or bad, but you should let Pioneer know what is actually not working on it, Just saying it doesn't work doesn't help, Like bringing your car to a mechanic and saying, fix my car, it doesn't work

Does it "go off course" so to speak?

ok, well thats 5 issues, maybe make separate threads on your issues or add to existing ones. I do agree with you though,

carnt scratch because cdj nexus 2000 skips back to previous track

The scratching at the beginning of a track is a joke, they don't allow any gap like Denon decks do to allow you to scratch on the first beat. You can however set the nexus deck in the menu to "SINGLE" so it does not go to previous track, still hard to scratch on first beat though if it is right at the 00:00:01 mark

should be able to delete tracks from rekordbox on the nexus player

Not sure why i would ever want this but ok

rekordbox crashes repeatedly when connected to my brand new macbook pro

wish I coulp there, i have a macbook pro and RB never crashes on me when linked (knock on wood)

@Papanox > What do you mean "excuses"? Pioneer have made no excuses.

@Turfer >

  1. Go to the menu options, change the Play Mode to SINGLE. You won't skip back to previous track when scratching. We've requested an update in performance ability.

  2. This comes down to rekordbox. Are you analysing in Normal or Dynamic mode? Have you re-analysed since 2.0.x update? Do you manually edit the beatgrids?

  3. Why should you be able to delete tracks from rekordbox using the CDJs? This seems like a unnecessary request for inclusion given the amount of times you'll want to delete a track from rekordbox and, more often than not, I'm willing to bet you'd delete the track during preparation time rather than playing live time.

  4. Analyse the tracks in Dynamic mode.

  5. What is the cause of the crashes?

Last night I took 4 tunes and re-analyzed them. Took the time to beat grid them. Made sure my quantize was on. Then began a mix. Once I got the 2 songs on perfectly (with sync engaged using my djm 2000 as the master) I found them to drift. And when I performed a 4 or 8 beat loop, it also drifted and was not tight like Traktor s/w. (I would say it's a FAT beat mix... Meaning although it's on beat, it's not perfect.) I messed around with all 4 songs, and they all did the same. Even with my Tech 1200's with Traktor, once they are perfectly matched.... I can go have a drink, a smoke, even take a potty break and come back to 2 songs that are still in time with each other. That is the way I think the sync feature should work. And I think that is the way everyone wants it to work.... And btw... those are just normal analyzed tunes in Traktor with no beat griding. So maybe if the engineers just start from the initial analysis of the tunes, maybe everything else will fall into place??
