Hmm, I'm not 100% sure here but I'm guessing it could be multiple soundcards are causing the issues. What OS are you on?

Follow[SOLVED] Using CDJ 900s in HID mode with added controller
Hi!
My intention was to run Traktor with CDJs in HID mode. However, due to the external mixer being somewhat limited in control, I wanted to add to the setup my midi controller (A&H XONE K2). Normally using multiple midi controllers should not be an issue as long as the OUT and IN in Traktor's device manager are correctly set for each controller. But in this particular case, the midi controller did not even show up as a usable device along the two CDJs in the device manager. The workaround was to map some of the controller's functions onto my computer keyboard, but it is far from a satisfying solution. For some reason it seemed as if the two CDJ 900s sort of took the program over and would not allow a third midi contoller to be utilized at all.
Any ideas as to why the midi controller was not usable alongside the CDJs?

I am on Windows 7 64-bit. I remembered that when I first plugged in the 900s, the midi controller was already plugged in. The result was that one of the CDJs put out a signal to the mixer, yet the other did not, although I was able to control the deck that did not put any sound out, if I remember correctly. Then I connected the CDJs first, and the controller after that. Then all was well with the CDJ sound output, but the contoller did not work at all. So it might be a conflict between the midi controller's built in audio interface and the aggregated sound cards of the CDJs? Any ideas on overcoming this?
OK, I just though of something and I would like your input, Gavin, or someone else who is thoroughly familiar with the CDJ 900s. What kind of MIDI channel do the CDJ 900s transmit on by default when they are in advanced HID mode? I suppose a midi channel conflict is quite possible, because I did not check that all of the controllers would be on separate channels beforehand.
@Artur > Did you get this working?
Due to some circumstances, I won't have the opportunity to try again before the end of May. If I succeed, I'll try to remember to post about it!
