how do i turn auto cue off ? ive only has the decks 2 days sorry if this sounds dumb
Don;t be sorry man, that's what the forums are for
hold down the time/auto cue button by the screen, after 2 seconds ACUE should turn off on the screen and you are good to go, but keep in mind now the tracks will not set a cue point now when you load them, you would have to set it manually
in my eyes, if the deck is playing and you slip behind the cue, it should never stop regardless, it should continue to play since you are already in play mode, OBVIOUSLY you want the track to play, lol
when i had the 2000 mk1 i allways had auto cue and remain on.. so when i press track search then would obv go back to the begining of the track. then when i pressed play i could still have control back and forth with the platter to set the track off.. now if i pull the platter too far back over the cue point when i realease the the deck it will stop.. obv if i take auto cue off then when i press track search it will go back to beging of the track but then yes it will just set off on its own so i need remain and auto cue on i dont want to start the deck with the play button i wont to be in control ..does this make sense?
Yes, and it's a con on the deck, we have complained about this even on the MK1. If I wanted to scratch at the beginning of a track i had to turn auto cue off first because when i went back a small bit before the cue and let go, the track stopped.
Hopefully the engineers hear all this for years and make a change one day, it's really annoying. There is no easy way to scratch if the beat you want to scratch on is right at the beginning with no buffer before
my mk1 2000s were fine im not a scratch dj myself but i started on vinyl so i like to here the first beat in my headphones ready for cueing off.they been ok for 2 days but now the dam things have started doing this i must off pressed something? also ive noticed in some music folders from last year the large waveforms dissapeard when the track is playing? and i can only see the small waveform at the bottom of the display window? im not happy at all cost me a lot of cash there going back if this carries and tbh i think the mk1s are miles better the nexus feel cheap
the MK1's acted exactly the same, Maybe it's different tracks you are now noticing it with? I have complained about this for years and years, LOL
maybe post a video quick of what you are talking about in case i am missing something but I am sure I know
ok bit late to post video now.. ill try resolve it tommozz .. cheers for the chat anyway :)
