can never be 100% sure, it's why I keep the update on my flash drive, if it is out of date and I feel it safe and have time to update them, with permission I do

Follow[SOLVED] CDJ-2000 Firmware
I'm planning to buy a CDJ-2000. I see some people saying they updated the firmware. I would too to have the latest version of it and minimize possible errors and bugs. But, thinking about clubs, and considering I am buying it to get used to the club situation, do they update the cdjs? I mean, off course some of them do, but is it a rule for them or you just can't be 100% sure that it will be?
Thanks.

That is some interesting idea. But you do that because you use Rekordbox or just because the latest firmware is better for any kind of use on the CDJ? Like I mix the old way, does the firmware version really matters in this ocasion?
Thanks
I use RB along with a usb drive at times with no laptop, depends on the event, either way, the latest FW is usually the better obviously, ESPECIALLY if you are using the 2000 Nexus decks, the released FW and 2 fw were very unstable, 1.10 is the latest and works a lot better now
Ok, thanks for the info BriChi!
@Daniel > 4.20 is the latest available firmware for the CDJ2000. I'd always recommend carrying a spare USB with the latest software update on it for those just-in-case situations where you arrive into a club and they haven't updated in a while. In all likelihood, they've never bothered updating unless their DJ does it for them.
