Hi, so was playing last night and twice the Vinyl brake failed to work correctly and stopped the track dead making me look like a complete prick in front of the crowd. I understand from the other posts this is a known problem caused by bass vibrations, but considering the 2000 is a professional CD player designed for use in nightclubs I don't consider this an acceptable explanation. When are Pioneer going to release a firmware update so this works as advertised? Because at the moment it doesn't!!!

@James > Its not optimal but you can adjust the jog wheel tension which should make this error less likely to occur OR you can set the pitch to WIDE and pitch down OR you can hold the outer jog ring and wind it down.
Its not as simple as creating new firmware to fix the problem.
