[SOLVED] Some Nexus Problems!

1. Turn Auto Cue on, it's right below the screen, hold the button in for 2 seconds to activate

2. not sure, I do not own the DJM2000, I am sure the effects stay in sync with the CDJ's bpm so thats one featuere

3. I dont use sync so cannot comment

are you talking about the ABC hot cues or the 10 memory points?

the ABC hot cues you can call up or have them auto load based on a RB setting

the memory points you jump to by using the left and right arrows to the right of the deck called "CUE/LOOP CALL"

THE ABC hot cues can be loaded automatically on the Nexus decks if you enable it on the track in RB in the hot cue column, another way is to hold down "CALL", the hot cues will flash and you press them to load them. Also if you want to save new ones just press REC once and then the letter

Just coming back on the sync problem for you.

Before mixing, the sync should be on for both decks. So it should no be any problem.

Did you check the beatgrid in RB after analysing. This is very important when using the sync.

So Kris you don´t know why needle search was blinking and I was not able to start the track? I checked the beatgrid, but to be honest it´s much easier to check the beatgrid with Traktor than with rb!

One last question, how can i delete hot cues, and is it actually possible to search through the Songs on my sd Card in the Player from the pc or a tablet or Smartphone?

how can i delete hot cues,

on the player you can only overwrite them with new ones, you can only delete them in the RB software

no, this has been suggested and we have annoyed pioneer for years to add this, still nothing, only the bedroom dj controllers can do this 

Ok, but how can i overwrite this Hot cue? Because If i press it, i´ll just jump to this Point! And moreover  is it possible that the track won´t start when I start a Loop in the Loop Mode?

I thought it could be possible to search for a track with recordbox.. :/

you overwrite it by hitting REC (all cues will turn red) then press the letter you wish to have as the new hot cue, press REC again to get out and use it.

you should be able to start a track from a loop by pressing "loop mode" and then one of the loops like 4,8,16 on the needle strip

you can search in rb but it will only search the tracks on your computer or devices plugged into your computer, RB on the laptop or iPad cannot search tracks on an SD card or USB drive that are connected to the CDJ, It has been suggested though being other players can do this but not the 2000's

so you want to create a 4 without the track starting? If so, hold down the loop IN button for 2 seconds and it will create a 4 beat loop without the track starting

And one last questions, I want to manage my Songs with playlists, so i created several playlists. But if I add 2 Songs to a playlist, how can i sync this with my sd Card? Do I have to pull the whole playlist again to the sd Card?

If you add a bunch during an event, afterwards plug in the card, right click on it and choose "update collection", this will take whatever is on your sd card cue point and memory point wise and add it to your main library

Ok, thanks a lot! I played yesterday night, and nearly everything was clear, but acutally the sync doesn´t work! I wasn´t able to sync any tracks!

At the top there are 4 bars which should Show me the rythm! But at most of the tracks it goes just 1-2-3-nothing-1-2-3!

So the 4 bar does not shine at most of the tracks!

And so if i hit sync and start the track the Player wait sometimes nearly 2 seconds and then the track is started totally asyncron! I´m reall not sure what´s going on there :o

@daniel - have you imported you tracks into rekordbox from trakor by using record rekord buddy by any chance?

Yes I´ve imported everything with Rekord Buddy! Why?

i had exactly the same issue!

there's an import bug in the latest rekordbox that doesn't work properly with a record buddy import. 

you need to roll back to rekordbox 2.0.2 until there's a fix from pioneer, hopefully in the next version.

yes, it's been reported!

i just deleted my rekordbox database and reimported the whole trakor collection back into 2.0.2 with no problems. 2.0.2 has been solid for me, so no major bugs.

One last question, how do you Import from Traktor? Every playlist apart? I think that´s really Elaborate, to Export from Traktor, then add intro rekordbuddy and rekordbox, and Export again to rekordbuddy....
