Just changed my whole setup to 2 cdj nxs and 1 djm 900 nxs. I also use Traktor Pro 2.
1. Should I see Waveform on the NXS display from Traktor when using HID mode?
2. Does the platter on air light turn red when in HID mode with Traktor?
3. I am not sure right now what my Firmware is but if its older, should I upgrade it or is there issues with the new one? (looking for user advise on this)
4. Do the cdj 2000 nxs fit in my old 1000 flight case? (haven't had time to try yet).
5. why wont my WD Passport USB 3.0 2TB bus powered drive work in the cdj 2000 nxs? Could it be I didnt wait long enough for it to load/recognize it?
And yes its the right format.
6. Is there a hidden/secret menu on the cdj 2000 nxs and how do u get to it? (i mean like the club settings on the mixer)
7. how long does it take for the CDJ 2000 nxs to enter standby mode? (if the setting is on)
8. there is a setting called play setting and its set to continuous. What is that? I am confused as Auto Cue is on already.

Read arround, I don't come across Nexusses alot myselves.
No, the display is higher and the units is bigger tho.
Not everything works, compatability with those is ... just look at the threads arround here..
Only if you hold the menu button for a longer time there is the menu with the platter and light settings if you consider this "hidden".

not the moving zoomable one, you should see the tiny wave along the bottom though

older FW had issues, definitely update to 1.13, you can see your version as soon as you turn the deck on, it shows the version number on boot up

not sure, maybe like 15 - 30 minutes, you can shut the standby feature off I believe

if single is selected then even with auto cue off it will stop playing at the end of the track, also with single on if you scratch at the very beginning of a track it does not go back to the previous track if you fall too far behind

I've updated the fw on both my players but haven't had time to really test them out yet. Seems like a lot of unanswered crys here for pioneer's help with fixing bugs. De ja vu all over again...reminds me of the DJM 2000 days :-/
