[CLOSED] CDJ-850 Not reading CDs

Greetings:

After travelling across the country with two CDJ-850's, one of them will no longer read CDs (either burned or store bought).  These CDs worked fine right before relocating (5 day drive).  The CDs work perfectly in one CDJ but not in the other.  The other one ejects the disc after attempting to read it.  It will still play mp3s from USB, just not CDs.

Is it possible the ride across the country damaged the laser or other component related to reading CDs?  I transported them in the original boxes with the foam inserts.  Is there any way for me to trouble shoot this problem?  I am handy with fixing tech and could replace a part if necessary.

Thanks

Steve Murray

I would put money on the fact the optical transport has been damaged or misaligned in its journey - your best bet is to contact Pioneer technical support to have the units serviced. Unfortunately nobody here is authorized to provide you with information or instructions on disassembly, modification or repair of your Pioneer product.
