and since we are not able to raise a bug as Pioneer always refer to the people whol sold the equipment... I assume it will never be fixed or acknowledged...?

CDJ850 does not sleep when USB is not umounted
if you have CDJ850 with a mounted USB stick, it won't go to sleep after inactivity of the player.
If you manually umount, it will.
I assume that it won't go asleep as the usb device has not been synced and/or is mounted as a filesystem.
