CDJ 900 NXS - SYNC

Question.. Everytime I try to mix using SYNC function on CDJs 900 Nexus, although the sync is on and lighted, playback of the 2 tracks is not alligned or in sync, unless I turn off sync and then press on again on the CDJ No. 2. Beatgrids are done and check in Rekordbox, and after turning it off and on again, it alligns perfectly in SYNC. BUT if I just press play on CDJ No. 2 (although SYNC is ON) it is not alligned...

Is it just me? Is it normal?

one needs to be the master. Do you have one on? (it will flip to the other player "automagically" whenthe master track is done)

Be aware that the beatgrids can cause embarassing moments if you use sync though. I have a few tracks that at the end will have irregular

beatgrids or slower... if you don't stop the master early enogh or disable sync, you will end up in a mixed track that all over sudden drops

several BPMs.

My 8yo girl here uses sync to quickly get the tracks at the same speed and then she disables sync due to above mentioned problems.
