Unfortunately no, the mixer must be part of the link for on air to work and the 850 does not have the linkable port

[SOLVED] ProDj Link/Red Illumination Ring
Hi guys, hoping you may be able to give me some clarification here.
I currently have for a mixer a DJM 850, and just acquired 2 CDJ 2000 Nexus yesterday.
I am looking to get as much function out of them as possible, but am slightly confused with ProDJlink. From what i understand the DJM 850 does not have that function. However when i have a LAN cable connecting my 2 CDJ's is there any way to connect those to the mixer to get the red ring (ON AIR) status, or am i limited by my mixer.
Any tips on how to make the most out of my setup would be greatly appreciated.
