CDJ2000 driver for windows 8.1

I've been having problems linking my CDJ2000 to SeratoDJ via HID mode. Sometimes it doesnt want to connect

and the software crashes. so i want to uninstall and reinstall the drivers.

I downloaded what i THINK is the latest CDJ2000 driver - Ver 1.210. But according to the Driver Installation Guide it is

compatible with XP, Vista, and 7. No mention of 8.1. Will this driver work for me in 8.1? If not what one should I use?

The guide is likely outdated; the drivers are certainly for Windows 8.1 - the verification process was completed (as noted on the download page). Did you follow the ** special instructions for Windows 8/8.1 installation**?

What is the computer's make / model / spec?

Are you connecting the CDJs directly via the USB or are you using a hub? Are the ports USB2 or USB3?

Which version of Serato DJ are you running?

What is the firmware version on the CDJ?

i havent installed the drivers yet, i just wanted to make sure they are compatible with 8.1 before installing.

I'll report back after installing.
