Variable BPM in track issues

Hi guys, i've started using the Nexus CDJ-2000 decks at a new club i'm working in and using music from a USB which was transferred from rekordbox.

Basically, I sometimes use the sync button, and what I have found is, say i'm playing a track with 125 BPM on deck A. Deck B, i load a track in, hit the sync button and start mixing in the new track. I sometimes go to mix the track when deck A is coming to a breakdown so I get a nice transition BUT on some of my tracks, the BPM can jump from 125 to 250BPM!! so when deck B comes in the BPM also jumps to 250BPM (obviously syncing the BPM) so it sounds like im playing house then all of a sudden when the BPM changes it sounds more like happy hardcore?!

My question is, how do I fix this so that I have the right BPM right through the track? would I need to adjust the grid on all of my tracks or am I missing a trick here?

I used to use traktor and never had this issue when using the sync feature but I "think" traktor had an option to either use tempo sync or beat sync and I cant rememeber which i used to use?

Thanks and apologies if my question doesnt make sense.

You always have to check that your beat grids are accurate if you want to rely on the sync feature. Most of the time you have to do little or no adjustments while some tracks needs a lot of care.
