I think it does not support hotcues,
but i hope it does recall any stored cue...
any info ?

Success for me with loading first cue point using rekordbox (android)
First
Set the cue point on Aero to Memory - look at page 19 for instructions PS look at the last 3 steps under heading ' Setting the cue point for auto cueing'
Second
Prepare your tack - I am using Nexus7 Android Tablet here. Select the cue point you want to start the song with - in my case I chose point where beat started about 58 secs into the song, then press the memory button on android Traktor
Third
Go back to LOAD .. choose the song you made the new cue-point for and it should now load onto Aero at your selected cue point ....
I have not tried this with the PC version or MAC version yet
cheers Neil
Just to let you know the PC version also works. Choose your cue point in Rekordbox then hit the Memory button on right hand side of screen - now the track is ready to load from its new cue point :)
Can someone confirm if this can now DEFINITELY be done? I'm going to buy either the DDJ-SX or the AERO and if Rekordbox hot cues can be saved onto a USB stick and then transferred to the AERO this would be the deal closer for me
yes it can be done. insted of setting a hotcue you set a memorie cue and it will load the closest to the start of the song when the Aero is set to auto cue, but you can not skip between cues and the Aero. And it works with smartphone, tablet, usb and computer connected to the Aero. As of now hot cues do not work with the Aero, in rekordbox on phone or computer you scroll into where you like the song to start then press the big cue button and then the memorie button. Now whenevery you load that song into Aero from any source and Aero is set to auto cue it will start from that point. Hope that was clear enough.
Hi folks!
I want to know if the latest firmware 2.0 fixed the Cue Point issue when you are using the PC Rekordbox software? Is it possible to define which Cue Point you want to start to play? Usually we use many cue points in a song.....or am i wrong?
Only one cue point can be used - using the memory button you can chose where you want to start the song from. Hopefully another update in the future will give us multiple cue points
@Kieran > No, we cannot confirm.
I bought AERO yesterday and could not have made my iPad connect with Rekordbox App because I kept tapping Connect instead of Load on the App.
Anyway, I have noticed that AERO does not apply the cue settings stored in Rekordbox App so I googled and found this page.
After spending time I found the following settings in Rekordbox App:
I think those are for CDJ (Correct me if I'm wrong).
And I found the following setting in AERO:
And that makes AERO set the first stored cue in Rekordbox App (You also have to turn on Auto Cue in AERO by holding AUTO CUE button).
I thought I should share my experience.
Thanks Hiro!
I hope Pioneer can do better! The idea of XDJ is good, but the software's base is still weak!
After update firmware 2.00, the echo function failed.....
Please launch a firmware that allow to use all the Rekordbox functionality.....
It's a minimum condition to sell what you promissed in a box
Thanks
Merry XMAS folks
A little correction....The ECHO fuction is working after firmware 2.00....Sorry!
Hi, I am just posting another problem with XDJ-Aero which I found before, but nobody answered me.
I have a problem using the Sync function. It is the same on all firmwares. When I play the tracks and the last one ends, the new track becomes a master track and from time to time if I move the pitch a little on the new track - the original tempo jumps to the current 'pitch' position. Usually, It is working fine and the moved pitch depends of the bpm - like it was designed. So, If the new tempo is 122 bpm and the pitch is still on 118bpm - I have to adjust it and 'catch' 122bpm position - and that prevent the jump in sound. I am getting the problem a few times during 2-3 hour set everyday, but it is for sure, and it is a shame to hear the tempo jumps from 124 to 117bpm for example. I am not sure and I can't find the reason why it is happening randomly, my guess is this could come when i press stop/cue button before the track finish by itself. All new owners of xdj can check it, just turn on Sync and start mixing quickly. When you hear the new track press Cue on the previous track, the white master light is moving to the other side and after 2-3 sec. move the pitch on the new track, does not depend on which direction + or -. You will hear the jump randomly.
My all tracks are analyzed by newest recordbox, mp3's are 320 from beatport. If the problem happens, the number of bpm becomes a % pitch on the display, and the jump is coming in the same time.
Thanks for help.
Pioneer has uploaded a video tutorial about how to use Auto-Cue feature with Rekordbox (not App version) and Aero:
is there any chance to get some answer for my problem?
anybody ?
I'm hoping somebody can answer this question, I am trying to set up a loop at the end of some songs in rekordbox thinking that the aero would automatically pick it up and play the loop but have had no success! Is the aero capable of doing this? Very disappointing if not..... I realize you can set loops in the mix on the aero it's self but the loops are off beat much of the time even though I have quantize set on in rekordbox?
no, the Aero does not support "Active Loop" which is what you are looking to do.
Why is it that setting loops in the mix on the aero is not always accurate? I thought quantize took care of that?
they should be "if" your beatgrids are perfect in RB. I dont own the Aero so I cannot test the accuracy, But on the 2000 Nexus tey are pretty damn accurate once the grids are set right
Is like brichi said if your beat grid is right you can have an accurate loop. If you really want a tight loop you can also use the metrodome that will work too. I have the aero and I alway use that to have tight loops. My only issue is that once I have my tracks run threw rekordbox and I put it on the USB stick I can not fix or edit the grid it won't let me do it. Not sure why? I would have to put that same song back do it over make sure it's on piont then export it back to my USB stick.
Steven V..... You will have to excuse me, I just bought my aero and I'm not familiar with the metrodome in Rekordbox? What is that?
@Gavin > from google:
A device used by musicians that marks time at a selected rate.
Essentially, its a consistent beeping noise that helps you ensure your beatgrids are in alignment.
